In this article we will explain how to set a page (temporarily) offline without deleting it, so it can be used again in the future.
1. Changing the visibility settings
Login to the CMS and select the page you want to set offline. Then follow these steps:
1. The “Publish” section appears on the right side, where the publication options of the page can be edited. (See image 1)
2. Go to the Visibility option and click on the “Edit” link.
3. Extra options will appear. Click on the “Private” option and then click the “OK” button (see image).
4. Update the page. The page is not online anymore, and is not visible to anyone.
When a page is set offline, all the buttons or links that use the page’s url will not work! The same applies to all the external sources that use this specific url (booking engines, Facebook etc.)
