This article will explain you how to update items in your navigation menu. This could be shown in a top menu in the header, or in a hamburger / pop up menu.

  • Navigate in the backend to ‘Appearance’ > ‘Menus’.
  • Now you can select which menu you would like to edit/update.

  • Once you have chosen the right menu, you can start updating it. Choose one of the pages on the left and select it if you wish to add it to the menu.
  • After that, choose ‘add to menu’ and it will appear on the right set underneath the other menu items.
  • From there you can drag it to the place you want it to appear. For example, it needs to be the first menu item, drag it all the way to the top.

  • If you wish to add a sub item to your menu, you can drag the page you selected in the previous step a little bit to the right. It will now appear a bit underneath the other menu item (as you can see in the screenshot):

  • Once you are done updating your menu, press ‘Save Menu’.
  • If you wish to update the translations as well, you can click on the preferred language in the right corner.
  • You will get a notification that you are about to make changes in the non-default language. You can click on ‘proceed the non-default language’. NOTE: Once you have finalised your changes, make sure to go back to the default language.
