If you wish to set up new translations for a page in Enfold, this is done by duplicating the page in its default language, by following the next steps. By using this manner, you are creating an exact copy of the page in its default/original language and are making sure pages are kept in line throughout the different languages.

  1. Login to your CMS and navigate to the ‘All Pages‘ overview (Pages > All Pages)
  2. Navigate to the page in its default language, that you wish you translate to another language. Now press ‘Duplicate This‘ or ‘Clone This‘ underneath the title of the page:
  3. Now the Draft appears underneath or above the page you just copied. Press ‘Edit‘ to open the page.
  4. On the right side you see the section ‘Language‘.
  5. Click the arrow beside ‘English’ and select the language you want to set up the page for. For example German.
  6. The following pop-up appears:
  7. Press OK.
  8. You have just set up the page in the desired language. Now you want to connect this page to the default language – connect it to the other translations of the page. Press ‘Connect with Translations‘ again in the right side of the screen:
  9. Another pop-up shows up. Type the title of the page you are translating/want to connect it to.
  10. In this example, we set up a translation for the homepage, so we search for ‘Home’. Make sure you choose the EN version of the page, as that is the main version of the page (the default page).
  11. Press OK.
  12. The next pop-up shows. Make sure to not check the box (Make … the original language for this page) as the original language is English.
  13. You have created a copy of the main/default page now and connected it to it. Press ‘Save Draft’ on the right side to make sure your edits aren’t lost.

You can now change the content of the page and translate it to the desired language!
