In this article, we will explain how to modify or create new posts to add in the post slider section.
1. Introduction
In the section are shown only the 3 most recent posts based on the publishing date and time and all of them are part of the category “evenementen”.
In the back-end there are 3 possibilities, to add a new post, to clone an existing one or to edit an existing one.
You can always change the publishing time and date based on the posts you want to display.
2. How to add a new post
If you wish to create an entirely new post please follow these steps:
- Access the back-end of your website and click on “Posts” in the left menu
- Click on “add a new post” on the top of the page and start adding content in the field.
- Select the category “evenementen” before Publishing the post.
As this post is the most recent one, it will be automatically displayed in the home page.
3. Edit or Clone an existing post
If you wish to copy the structure of an existing post then opt for the option “Clone”, if you wish to replace an existing post then use the option “Edit”
To “edit” or “clone” a post follow these steps:
- Click on “posts” in the left menu of the Website back-end
- Choose the post to edit/clone and select the option you wish
- Now replace the content in each element of the page
- Make sure that the category “Evenementen” is selected before updating the page
4. Edit the publishing Date & Time
To edit the publishing Date and Time follow these steps:
- Click on “posts”
- Click on quick edit on the selected post
- Change the date & time
- Click on Update
